Summer Election Predictions

A Recall?

Along with the propositions, there are number of government positions open across the state, including a possible recall of State Senator Jeff Denham (R)! If the recall passes, Simon Silanas (D) would take over his seat. The recall petition on the ballot is pretty despicable on the part of the Democrats. Senator Denham opposed the budget along with his Republican party and was singled out by the Democratic leader Tom Perata for a recall.

Open Positions

There are a bunch of open positions all over the state. A notable one is Assembly Seat #12 where longtime San Francisco Board of Supervisor Tom Ammiano is in the running. The seat is all but guaranteed for Ammiano seeing as how no one is running against him.
